General Information
Team Perks:
Team members who are not current Roca Members will receive a membership to the gym for each month they are enrolled. That means that your child can come and climb all that he/she wants that month while enrolled on Team (with an adult chaperone)!
This team membership includes all rental equipment for no extra charge
Like all of our members, your child will receive 1 free guest pass each month

Team Restrictions:
You must sign up for one Team offering or another. Team members will NOT be able to switch days within the same month but may see if there are openings on the other team at the beginning of the next month. Please inquire at the Front Desk for team availability.
We do not offer make-ups for missed practices. Climbers should feel free to use the gym outside of practice time using their gym membership to make up missed time. Climbers under age 14, must be accompanied by an adult in the gym.
Registration for Climb Team is on a month-by-month basis. New Team members MUST be present at the first practice of the month to participate for that month. Few exceptions apply.

2024 climb team Season
Recreational Team
Rec Team meets once a week and is a great introduction to climbing in a slightly more structured format. This team focuses on learning a wide variety of new skills required to be a proficient climber, but in a fun and relaxed environment. Whether your child is looking to pursue climbing as a leisurely activity or as a competitive sport, this team will give them a solid foundation to build upon!
2024 Rec Team Prices:
Membership starts at $64 + Team Dues $59 = $123/month
2024 Practice Schedule:
Wednesdays from 5pm-6:30pm
OR
Fridays from 5pm-6:30pm
JR Advanced Team
JR Advanced Team is by Invitation ONLY and they meet once a week. This team is for a small, select group of younger climbers that have been excelling on Rec Team, but are a bit to young to join Advanced Team. This team focuses on honing their knowledge and skills required to excel as a young climber and prepare them for Advanced Team.
2024 JR Adv Team Prices:
Membership starts at $64 + Team Dues $59 = $123/month
2024 Practice Schedule:
Thursdays from 6:00pm-7:30pm
Advanced Team
The Advanced Team meets twice a week and is tailored for youth who are serious about becoming better athletes and climbers. Each week, team members participate in drills, workouts, and home exercises designed to help them reach their fullest potential. Our goal is to make participants smarter, stronger, and more competent climbers. This team is perfect for kids who climb at the 5.9 and 5.10 levels.
Members of the Advanced Team can expect to learn more advanced climbing skills.
Prerequisites: Referrals by coach required for those currently on Recreation Team. Other climbers must be tested on their climbing ability, climbing interest, and coachability by one of our team coaches in order to be considered to join team.

Membership starts at $64 + Team Dues $118 = $182/month
2024 Practice Schedule:
Tuesdays AND Thursdays from 5pm-6:30pm
OR
Tuesdays AND Thursdays from 7:00-8:30pm
Elite Team
The Elite Team meets twice a week and is designed for climbers who are committed to the sport and ready to compete at the regional, divisional, and national levels. Our USA Climbing Certified coaches carefully craft individually tailored workouts in order to push team members to their limits while helping the climbers meet their individual climbing goals. Climbers will be required to demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of climbing skills and techniques, a strong work ethic, and maintain enthusiasm about the sport.
Prerequisites: Enrollment in the Roca Elite Team is by invitation only.
2024 Elite Team Prices:
Membership starts at $64 + Team Dues $145 = $209/month
2024 Practice Schedule:
Mondays AND Wednesdays from 5-7pm
OR
Mondays AND Wednesdays from 6:45-8:45pm
Scholarship Opportunities
Here at Roca, we believe in providing climbing opportunities for everyone, regardless of financial barriers. We are happy be able to provide scholarships to youth in need who are a part of our Roca Climbing Teams.
We are currently reevaluating our scholarship program and will provide information about it as soon as we can. Please stay tuned.
